Detras de Bonnie ´Prince´Billy esta Will Oldham, que nacío en El 24 de diciembre de 1970 en Louisville, Kentucky, el cual tiene distintos discos con diversas formaciones: Palace Music, Palace Brothers, Palace Songs. Lo suyo es un blues sombrio y lento. Entre otros alias que ha utilizado estan: Joya, Black Dissimulation, I See a Darkness, Ode Music y Guarapero. En 1992 publica un primer LP, Ohio River Boat Song, con el seudónimo de Palace Songs. El resultado fue una pequeña obra maestra, en la cual se encontraban los primeros bosquejos de lo que lo que luego sería su carrera, entre las que destacamos una voz aguda de pájaro herido, letras de un profundo lirismo y capacidad para reinventar y llevar al límite los géneros más importantes de la música popular norteamericana: el folk, el country y el blues. Es considerado el heredero de Bob Dylan.

INFLUENCIAS- ESTILO: Bonnie “Prince” Billy se mueve dentro del Folk., country y rock indie. Sin embargo ha declarado que no le gustan las entrevistas tampoco le gustan las etiquetas y ha dicho: “I don’t think it’s roots music, though it’s definitely influenced by Western popular music”. Algo así como no creo en las raíces de la música, pero he sido influenciado por las música del oeste americano ( lo que se le conoce mayoritariamente como Folk)”

Franz Ferdinand es una banda formada en Glasgow, Escocia en 2001 llamada así en honor al Archiduque Francisco Fernando de Austria-Hungria. Principalmente porque la muerte de este fue la causante de la Gran Guerra (Segunda Guerra Mundial ). La banda está compuesta por Alex Kapranos( voz principal, guitarra solistay teclados) Bob Hardy ( bajo) Nick McCarthy ( Guitarra Rítmica, teclados y coros) y Paul Thomson (batería, percusión y coros)
